Caroline D’Oyen-Fitchett

Caroline D’Oyen-D’Oyen-Fitchett is a second-year doctoral student in Gender Studies and Law at SOAS. Her dissertation title is “ Black Women and their Experiences of Prison in the UK: A Post Slavery Analysis”. She is concerned with the invisibility of black women’s voices in criminological literature and the criminal justice system in the UK.
